Affinity Photo 2.3 by Serif
Affinity Photo 2.3 could be seen as a pleasant but not mandatory update, as the new features seem to be more related to graphic design than general CG work. Among them is the new Spiral Tool, which generates circular and polygonal spirals of various shapes, including linear, fading, semicircular, and Fibonacci spirals. The new "Pixel Grid" option in the "View" menu allows users to display a grid that visualizes individual pixels of an image when zoomed in to a certain level. Users can also create and place password-protected PDF files. Additionally, there are updates to the data input workflow and the ability to customize the background color of the Assets panel.
Affinity Photo 2.3 is available for Windows 10 and higher, macOS 10.15 and higher, and iPadOS 15.0 and higher. The update is free for registered users of version 2.x. New perpetual licenses for the desktop version cost $69.99, while for the iPad version, it's priced at $18.49. A universal license, including all Affinity applications, is priced at $164.99.
