AFPCollection is a free scripts package by the artist Anthony Possobon. These scripts use expression capabilities to control all animations dynamically using simple animation layers. This way of working can significantly save time and allow for adding "volume" to a 2D image.

The Nima animation presented in the video above has more than 400 layers of environment and was animated for an hour using free scripts from the AFPCollection.
