“Remember that you must die, remember that you must live.” This project was a deep dive into PBR texturing and hard-surface modeling. The goal was to create a piece that feels both like a functional weapon and a ceremonial relic. I wanted to balance the cold, sharp nature of the blade with the intricate, aged details of the hilt and gold inlays. Technical details: Software used: Blender, Zbrush, RizomUV, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag. Workflow: High-poly to low-poly baking, PBR metallic-roughness workflow.
