Frankfurt. April 1984.

A direct conflict between the USSR and NATO has begun.
The surviving fragmented forces of the GDR and the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany managed to organize a retreat beyond the Oder, linking up with the Northern Group of Soviet Forces, which has taken control of the entire territory from Szczecin to Wrocław.
The Southern Group, suffering heavy losses, succeeded in capturing Kraków, but Katowice remains under NATO control. A junction with the northern breakthrough has not yet been achieved.
So far, the encirclement has failed to close, and the resulting pocket continues to receive active resupply, preventing the large NATO contingent from being fully surrounded.
The Central Soviet Group is already engaged in combat on the outskirts of Warsaw.
