This project was created for the cover band DALLAS Music Band (@dallasmusicband) to be used on LED screens during their live performances. All effects and audio in the video were used solely for the purpose of presenting the scene. I dedicated the most time to this scene as the task included fire simulation and subsequent compositing. I wanted to ensure accurate reflections of the flame highlights within the scene, so I implemented them using Media Texture and Light Function in the shader. Modeling was done in Blender, texturing in Substance Painter, fire simulation in EmberGen, scene assembly, smoke simulation, fx, lighting, and rendering in Unreal Engine 5, with compositing and editing completed in DaVinci Resolve. About the audio: I initially composed the arrangement in Studio One but felt the track lacked depth. I reached out to my long-time friend and classmate Andrey Korolev (@AndrewCoreLove), who added several FX layers that greatly enhanced the final sound. He also handled the initial mixing, after which we held a joint session to refine the mix. I performed the final mastering myself, also in Studio One.
