Real-time facial rig, groom, shading and animation showcase.
🦛 MetaHippos is a personal exploration of how far the MetaHuman system can be pushed beyond human boundaries. “Mr. & Mrs. Hippo” are two fully customized stylized characters that retain compatibility with the MetaHuman facial rig and animation pipeline.

Rigging: Maya + MetaPipe v2
Texturing: Substance Painter
Groom: Unreal Engine native Hair System
Scene: Based on Epic Games' MetaHumans sample project, reworked and adapted (lighting, animation, layout,cameras)
Rendering: Unreal Engine 5 — Movie Render Queue (EXR)
Post: DaVinci Resolve (color grading + cleanup)
