The ZBrush 2025.2 update focuses on workflow improvements: it introduces new ZModeler features from the iPad version and additional Redshift materials. The update enhances the creation of base meshes and hard surface models. Snapping has been added when inserting edge loops — they can now align to polygon centers or specific points. There’s also a new Selection Action Mode for quick polygon selection, and the ability to save frequently used tools as presets. These features were developed during the adaptation of ZModeler for the iPad version of ZBrush 2025.3, which is included in the subscription.
A key part of the update is Redshift render integration — subscribers now receive the CPU version of the engine along with 18+ new materials, fully compatible with other 3D packages. All changes are aimed at unifying the workflow between the desktop and mobile versions of the program, which will be especially appreciated by artists working across multiple devices.
ZBrush 2025.2 is compatible with Windows 10+ and macOS 11.5+. It is available by subscription only, priced at $49 per month or $399 per year.
