Botaniq 7.0 Update for Blender
In the botaniq 7.0 update for Blender, 111 new assets have been added in addition to the 53 introduced in the previous botaniq 6.8 update. It also transitions the 3D vine generation system to use Geometry Nodes in Blender. However, the most significant change is that botaniq is no longer a standalone add-on but rather a package of assets that can be loaded using engon, a new open-source asset browser from polygoniq.
At the moment, you can download a sample set of assets from botaniq for free by filling out the form on the polygoniq website. The sample includes 38 assets, featuring 3D trees, grassy plants, ferns and grass, as well as stones and garden furniture.
Botaniq 7.0 is compatible with Blender 2.93 and above, including Cycles and Eevee renders. Personal licenses cost $129 for the full library. There are also Starter and Lite editions priced at $1.99 and $49.99, providing 4% and 42% of the full library, respectively. Multi-seat studio licenses start from $249.99.
