This is one of the new additions to Ten24's collection of free 3D scans. It's available in Zbrush ZTL format, as well as OBJ and FBX formats. It's worth noting that the head, teeth, tongue, eyeballs, lenses, and eyebrows are provided as separate meshes. The package includes JPEG or TGA textures at a resolution of 8192 x 8192 pixels. Both sets include albedo, normal, displacement, roughness, and reflection maps that are compatible with PBR workflows. The displacement map is also provided as a 16-bit TIFF for capturing skin details such as pores and wrinkles.
Ten24 has also provided ready-to-render scenes for Blender and Marmoset Toolbag with HDRI lighting and pre-configured skin shaders and materials. Along with this release, they've also put out a set of 26 free overlay textures for dirt and makeup. These textures have quite an extreme appearance, such as the goth makeup demonstrated in the video. The textures are provided in PSD format and as textures sized at 8192 x 8192 pixels. They are compatible with the new free head model and any commercial SD, HD, metamorph, and exomorph head scans from Ten24.
The company also sells various other commercial 3D scans, including male and female hands, feet, and full-body scans, through their 3D Scan Store.
The 3D head scan can be downloaded for free. It's not licensed for commercial use but can be used for any private or non-commercial projects, as well as internal testing within a studio or company.
The scan is provided in FBX and OBJ formats, as well as scene files for ZBrush 2022 and later, Marmoset Toolbag 4 and later, and Blender 3.2.2 and later.
