Characteristics: Primary Entrapment Mechanism: The thoracic cavity and rib cage have transmuted into massive, serrated, enamel-coated fangs. This structure functions as a high-velocity hydraulic trap. Peripheral mandibles (maxillipeds) act as mechanical feeders, forcing prey into the central gullet. Sensory Apparatus: A distal, hyper-flexible muscular protrusion (tongue-analogue) terminated by a fully functional eyeball. This organ provides 360-degree panoramic vision and is the only unarmored and vulnerable point of the organism. The high maneuverability of the "tongue-eye" protects it from most attacks. Prehensile Appendages: Two pairs of hypertrophied muscular tentacles, evolved from upper extremities. These are utilized for long-range snaring and immobilization of biomass. Locomotion & Support: The pelvic limbs retain a rigid bone structure but exhibit vestigial mutations. The gait is heavy and cumbersome; however, secondary "rudimentary" feet have sprouted to enhance weight distribution and structural stability.
