The work was completed as part of the 1st season of the 3D Sandbox project by WGA https://render.ru/ru/White_GameDev_Academy
The goal of the project was for participants to collaborate on the recreation of a location from Hogwarts Legacy in studio conditions.
As a task, I was given a reference by the artist ChaeWon https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lGOEBG
to create props from scratch and run them through the entire AAA pipeline until the finished model is uploaded to the UE5 game engine, with maximum adherence to the reference.
The purpose of my participation was to gain experience in a studio and team that I could not get while working as a freelancer. And also to replenish the portfolio, which I did not have enough time for in isolation, with professional works.
How do you think I managed to repeat ChaeWon's work and convey the meaning and atmosphere embedded in it?
