After an unequal battle on the Rybnaya River, the Red Guards were forced to retreat to the Klyukvennaya railway station. While the trains retreated to Krasnoyarsk, they had to fend off the Czechoslovak Corps and Belykh by occupying the key buildings of the small station: the train station, the water tower, and the church.
