Design Objectives:
The main objective in designing this interior was to ensure year-round usability in Minsk's climate. Therefore, only special outdoor furniture is used, which does not need to be brought indoors. Additionally, infrared heaters are built into the ceiling for warmth during the winter season.
Layout:
The terrace is divided into two zones: a dining area and a lounge area. The dining table is conveniently placed near the entrance for quick access from the kitchen. A heater is installed above the table, allowing for comfortable meals even in cold weather. The lounge area features a soft sofa and a gas fireplace for additional warmth. An infrared heater is also installed above the sofa.
Design:
The client wanted a monochrome, minimalist space that still feels cozy. Therefore, a gray color palette with black accents and warm lighting was chosen. To add comfort, live juniper plants were placed at both ends of the terrace.
Conclusion:
The design of this terrace meets the client’s needs, allowing them to enjoy the space not only in summer but throughout the entire year without compromising on comfort.
