Author’s comment:
Ritual Blade of Lilith.
This blade was forged by craftsmen in hell by order of Lilith herself, before her soul was imprisoned in ancient artifacts. The cunning demoness left a part of her soul in this blade in order to have a chance to return to life in the future.
Such a blade has a very strong aura of terror and can be too strong an artifact in the hands of the right person. That is why an unelected traveler holding this blade will go crazy after the first blow with the blade, since the blade itself feeds not only on the blood of enemies, but also on the consciousness of the owner
The closed eyes on the blade signal that Lillith is still asleep, but sooner or later she will be free. There are legends that in order to free the soul, the blade must drink all kinds of blood from the inhabitants of Hell, Earth, and Paradise.
There is a large blood clot on the blade, which expands with each drink. The blade deforms with time and blood filling.
If you represent a blade within the dnd system, then the owner must have a perception of more than 20 in order to hold this blade without losing consciousness. Otherwise, to take the blade, you need to throw a 20+ perception saving throw, in case of failure, the hero loses blood every second of holding the blade.
If the chosen one collects enough blood, he can spew it out in the form of a temporary summoning of the spirit of Lillith, who will fight on the battlefield, destroying EVERYONE he overtakes, except the owner of the blade himself.
All the previous owners of the blade are dead, but in the notes and diaries there was information that Lillith herself spoke in consciousness with the owners of the blade, urging them to sacrifice themselves to restore balance and free the Demoness.
