Author’s comment:
The work was done for the 3ddd competition "Residence of Ded Moroz".
After the theme of the competition was announced, I immediately decided that I should participate: I really like traditional Russian architecture and it perfectly fits the task. I started working with drawings and sketches on the same day - I found all kinds of albums on Russian architecture, looked through everything, chose one of the projects of the late XIX century, took it as a basis and started. It was important not to give in to emotions and not choose too big a tower. I decided to act on the principle of "better smaller, yes better" - I settled on a medium-sized house and decided to work it out thoroughly. Almost all the elements were recycled and modified to get into the style of Santa Claus. In the end, it turned out to be a "porridge from an axe": only the general outlines remained from the initial project. He independently came up with some general planning solutions, as well as most decorative elements. The work was done with love, the soul was really invested in it. I worked on it for exactly 33 days with diligence and full dedication. I got great pleasure from working, searching for various solutions, thinking about this or that element. I hope you like it too!
