In Affinity Photo 2.4, 32-bit PNG files have been added to the list of supported file formats, enabling the import and export of HDR images. The implementation adheres to the latest PNG specification and supports HDR with both full and narrow (broadcast) range, featuring PQ and HLG transfer functions. Additionally, Affinity Photo now supports RAW files from an additional 50 camera and smartphone models. Furthermore, several workflow improvements have been made in the export mode, along with enhancements to object selection, locking, and alignment within the document.
Affinity Photo 2.4 is available for Windows 10 and above, macOS 10.15 and above, and iPadOS 15.0 and above. The update is free for registered users of version 2.x.
New perpetual licenses for the desktop version cost $69.99, and for the iPad version, it is $18.49. A universal license, including all Affinity apps, costs $164.99.
