In the updated beta version, Toolbag 4.06, the range of content exportable to USD format has been expanded. It now includes rotatable objects, shadow-casting objects, fog, and background objects.
In addition to that, the USD export in Toolbag 4.06 now supports a wider range of material properties, including emissive, displacement, and transparency.
Toolbag 4.06 is currently in beta for existing users, and Marmoset has not announced a final release date. The current stable version, Toolbag 4.05, is available for Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 and above. It is compatible with any GPU that supports Direct3D 12 on Windows and second-generation GPUs on macOS.
The cost of new licenses is $319 for individual artists and $879 for studios. The subscription pricing is $15.99 per month for individual users and $43.99 per month for studios.
