This matte painting is my personal project, I return to it from time to time. It's a real concert hall located right in front of my house in Azerbaijan, Baku. Here's one of the reference images that I used for modeling - http://www.defonten.az/source.jpg
The main idea was to lift the whole structure in the air and integrate CG elements into photo back.
Modelled mostly in Maya and rendered in Max \ Vray
