This is a fanart based on a manga, which has had a great impact on me. The goal I've set for myself was to make a 3d image out of an original manga image as precisely as possible. This image was chosen, because it was quite a significant moment in the manga plot, while having a relatively good composition. This image is not to be taken for a gore - the storyline of this moment is as follows: a nearly destroyed cyborg girl is on an edge of being incinerated, and to be able to communicate with her, electrodes are connected to her brain putting her into a virtual reality.
