Glass floats

preview Glass floats
Glass floats were used by fishermen to keep their fishing nets. I found something strangely captivating in these glass floats, which can still be found on Pacific beaches to this day. Japan mass-produced them from the early 20th century until the mid-20th century. The color of the floats directly depended on the color of the recycled glass; for example, green and aquamarine ones were made from recycled sake bottles.
