«Minimal Arch (Rebuild)»
This is a slightly reworked version of an old project from 2011.
This project is quite important to me, as it was the beginning of my serious work in CG.
The project was built in MentalRay, and the environment trees were created specifically for the project. These aren't standard libraries, and unfortunately, I was foolish enough to delete the source files. Everything remains exclusively in MentalRay Proxy, which doesn't have a reverse geometry extraction process.
I hope someday I'll be able to extract the environment geometry and rebuild everything from scratch, with a more thorough approach, using a new engine. But today, in 2026, working in MentalRay isn't just inconvenient, I'd even say painful. No matter how wonderful it was for its time, it's unfortunately hopelessly outdated. Therefore, the rework was rather superficial. Of course, all these tilting cameras raise smiles and questions today, but back in 2011, I thought it was a detriment to the dynamics, most likely due to my lack of experience.
To improve quality, Corona and ComfyUI were partially used.
