Author’s comment:
This character is inspired by the aesthetics of horror in the spirit of Howard Phillips Lovecraft, a creature standing on the border between a human and an inhabitant of the bottomless depths of the sea.
His features are distorted by mutation: his skin has lost its human texture, acquired a cold, moist density, and the asymmetry of his face emphasizes the gradual loss of humanity. One eye already seems to belong to another world, while the other still retains remnants of reason... or fear of what it turns into.
The main focus of the work is on sculpting organic shapes, conveying a moist, dense skin surface and creating an alarming, almost repulsive, but attractive image.
.Graphic images of characters like in Arcane/South of Midnight became the reference of the style.
