Hello everyone!
I’m excited to present my latest personal project "Knight of the Silver Oath" a real-time character created as a full pipeline study.
The main goal was to create a grounded and believable knight character suitable for real-time engines, with a focus on clean materials, subtle surface variation, and production-ready optimization.
Steps and Software:
-Sculpted in ZBrush
-Clothing (gambeson and cloak) created in Marvelous Designer
-Retopology in TopoGun
-Scene assembly and final adjustments in Blender
-UVs created and packed in RizomUV
-Baked and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag
-Textured in Substance Painter
-Hair cards created and placed manually
Technical details:
Total polycount: 130k tris (110k character + 20k hair)
Texture sets:
4 × 4K for armor and clothing
1 × 4K for head
1 × 4K for hair
