Cyber Kong is a personal project in which I focused on creating a complex hard-surface design and integrating organic forms with mechanical elements. The goal was to create a game character with a full production cycle: from concept to final animation and rendering.
Stages and software:
- Modeling — Blender;
- Skin texture was made in Blender and Substance Painter;
- Textures in Substance Painter;
- Studio and cinematic renders — Blender;
- Rigging, animation, cinematic were also made in Blender;
The Gorilla model with a gun and decals contains 283,990 triangles;
- 3 sets of 4k textures for character with weapon;
- 1 set of 4k textures for head;
- 2 sets of 2k decals textures;
