Deinonychus
I present my reconstruction of Deinonychus, a medium-sized predatory dinosaur of the Cretaceous period ("velociraptor-like", with a large claw on their hind legs, which they used as a weapon when hunting), which hunted in packs, usually for larger prey.
It was a very long project, which was often abandoned and resumed again, and which is finally finished. In fact, this is my first fully completed work.
As a starting point, I used reconstructions by sculptor and paleontologist Stephen Andrew Czerkas, however, perhaps since then the ideas about the appearance of these animals have changed, so I don't pretend to be scientifically reliable)
Sculpting - ZBrush, textures - Substance Painter, UV - RizomUV, scene assembly - Maya, XGen for feather cover, compositing and tone correction in Photoshop.
I hope you enjoy it!
