I don't want to name this one
This painting has fucked my brain, because it consists of contradictions.
I hate this very "paint-me-as-I'm-a-character" genre in particular, but my client did not comissioned that for himself, and the story behind (which is not your concern) is quite tragic.
I have decided to paint this one noncinematically, nondramatically and naturally, so the hero would look real and alive, not photographed. I've hoped it would push my individuality here, but instead it has pushed my pursue to reach Serov and Velasuqez.
I have only proved I am not any of them.
The painting looks just fine if you look at it in reality with your own eyes, but not quite as good phorographed and ensmalled.
Even the very post I'm typing was a contradiction, since I couldn't make up my mind whether to start it with: "Look what I've done, bitches" or "Sorry, I'm not posting this".
However, there's something about this painting that I want to try again sometime.
So, look what I've done, bitches.
