Quars are monsters that inhabit the sewers of Hinder. Quars are pack animals, predators, but they also feed on crystals. They do not act alone, but in groups of at least three, and often more. They have tough, scaly skin with sharp spikes. When they bite, they inject poison into their victim's bloodstream, causing lethargy, weakness, disorientation, and loss of consciousness. The amount of poison injected depends on the size of the individual. There have been recorded cases of fatal poisoning. After biting the head, the jaw begins to vibrate, thereby crushing the skull. Once the skull is crushed, they insert a probe with bone protrusions at the end into it, which begins to rotate, beating and grinding everything into a homogeneous mass, then sucking out the contents through a hole in the tongue. There are four types of Quars: blue, yellow, red, and purple. Blue Quarks are soldiers and do not possess any particular intelligence, while yellow Quars are captains and generals who command up to five blue Quars and maintain complete control over them. They are capable of selecting and tracking down the optimal prey for the pack for a long time, sending fighters into battle at the most opportune moment. They do not engage in combat themselves, and when the last fighter falls, they immediately flee. Red Quars are among the strongest Quars, performing guard duties at the nest and also going on special operations under the command of Yellow generals. Purple Quars, also known as Royal Quars, are most often found in the center of the nest and do not go hunting themselves. They possess magical abilities, can subjugate their victims to their will, use force fields, and teleport short distances of up to 10 meters. No one has ever been able to obtain even the smallest sample of a Royal Quasar... Quars reproduce by spawning. Quars - Predator. Fast. Good swimmer. Easily navigates in complete darkness.
