In 2024, I was exploring various CAD programs and came across Plasticity, a 3D CAD program for artists, not engineers. I tested it and decided to create this model in it. It had a simple but interesting pipeline, producing high-poly and low-poly output, then slightly cleaning up the low-poly to remove any bugs in Plasticity's automatic optimizer, and then following the standard UVI process, baking, and texture rendering. I rendered in Marmoset 4 with raytracing. Three 4K sets: one for the steamer body, a second for the transparent plastic/glass shader, and a third set for the liquid shader. The water inside was simulated in Blender and backed into static geometry.
