The superficial idea was this: The Evil Koshchei the Immortal seized power, and let's industrialize and pollute everything so much that we now see such landscapes. Will Vasilisa change anything?) The deep idea was, perhaps, about the importance of preserving our historical architecture, and the eco-theme (of course). Now a lot of things are changing, sometimes not for the better, and sometimes due to neglect, architectural monuments live out their days as ruins. I don't know if these thoughts are close to anyone, but I can't help but mention that a sense of aesthetics is formed in us, including through the environment.
