The film "The Island" by Pavel Lungin was shot here. Rabochiostrovsk is the gateway to the spiritual monastery of Russia, the Solovetsky Monastery, and a transit point on the way to the most famous Stalinist camp. This church was completed as a set for the film. In fact, this abandoned hut had previously served as a barrack for the detention of prisoners, before sending them to Solovki on a barge. It is a place of Russian holiness, a place of martyrdom.  Unfortunately, in 2021 the church burned down. In any case, the places are special, deep in spiritual terms, like the film, it just shakes to the depths of the soul. I advise everyone to watch it in order to think about the eternal.
