"A great civilization was destroyed. Its ruins are buried at the bottom of the ocean. They became reefs. In ancient palaces and temples, there are still artifacts from the past. On the black market, they fetch a huge price. But in the heart of the ancient city there is still life. Its defenders drive away uninvited guests and predatory reef dwellers from their home. They are bound by an ancient spell that makes them immortal and forces them to guard the place. Their duty will last forever...." The idea for this illustration came a long time ago. I made a small sketch and it lay around for a while. And recently I watched a movie about reef dwellers and remembered about this idea and decided that it was time to finish this work).
