Aetherodon Etherealis is a creature belonging to the class Aetherozoa, discovered in the oceans of the planet Xenosphaera. It inhabits depths of up to 300 meters. Adult specimens reach impressive sizes, ranging from 18 to 25 meters. In terms of locomotion, they resemble earthly rays, utilizing swimming wings and a tail. Maneuvering is facilitated by maneuvering fins. The underlying structure features a cartilaginous and flexible skeleton. Respiratory organs are external, taking the form of gills bathed in water. This passive respiratory mechanism is made possible by the high concentration of oxygen in the planet's waters. In terms of feeding, Aetherodon Etherealis is a filter feeder. While moving in coastal waters, it sieves organic matter through small filaments on the digestive surface of its body. At the posterior end, it possesses two grasping tentacles used for maintaining stability in the water, gripping onto relief elements, and securing a mating partner during the mating period. Fertilization is internal. The female lays eggs, producing 100 to 500 eggs during each reproductive period. The hatched offspring from the eggs of Aetherodon Etherealis develop into fully formed individuals, reaching their maximum size by thirty Earth years.
