Hi all!
I published in my portfolio the project that I talked about yesterday in my TG channel:
https://www.behance.net/gallery/186906471/Residential-complex-Voroshilov-and-Chkalov
This project was my first time as a curator.
Helped newcomers Nikolai (https://www.behance.net/niknik57) and Yulia (https://www.behance.net/singara86) to competently organize work on their first project of this scale.
With @singara_yulia we held 1.5-hour interactive calls several times, during which I talked about the intricacies of assembling large exterior scenes, since Yulia was faced with such a task for the first time - to assemble an entire microdistrict with surrounding buildings, and then take 6 close-in shots to work .
For close shots, we worked on the composition, lighting, and detailing of the scene.
One of the 11 close-up shots was taken by Nikolay - he, like Yulia, joined our team after completing a test task from me. I was then looking for a modeler, and Nikolai wrote to me on time, successfully completed the technical specifications and got on the team. His task was to assemble models of residential complex houses, the drawings for which were sent to us by the customer.
While Nikolai was modeling the houses, Yulia was collecting everything surrounding them based on master plans, landscaping and landscaping plans. And then I added the houses that Nikolai had assembled and I was already involved in the work, since we first needed to produce bird’s-eye shots.
I modified the scene a little, optimized it, planted vegetation, adjusted materials and lighting, and made a render.
Meanwhile, the guys started working on close-in shots.
Time was running out and we called another colleague of ours for help - Ivan Kovalenkov (https://www.behance.net/wwwvanoru008a9).
Vanya took on one shot, but even this work made the task much easier for us.
Thanks to everyone who took part in this project! I think that we coped with the task perfectly, and two very promising specialists joined our team.
P.S. By the way, I forgot to say that on this project I first used a neural network, Stable Diffusion, to create and integrate people into a frame. And this is really cool!
