In the distant past, when Nezzik was very young, he was kidnapped from his hometown of "Grambil". He was ransomed by a wealthy family of scientists, and Nezzik grew up never wanting for anything. But soon he learned a terrible secret: the people who were now his family had killed all those who were like him, in order to gain the magic of the forest spirit - the very magic that granted great power and immortality. In horror, Nezzik decided to run away from this terrible place. All members of the family became traitors and deeply wounded his heart. His escape was not easy. He ran for so long that he didn't even realize he had entered the dark depths of the forest. Exhausted, he collapsed and fell into a deep sleep. When he woke up, he found himself in a warm and cozy home. He was found by the small Gruns - guardians of the owl grove. Nezzik decided to stay and live with them, exchanging skills and knowledge. Since then, Nezzik became the guardian of the owl grove. He cared for it and its inhabitants, protecting them from all evil. He became known as Nezzik of the owl grove - defender of the forest and its magic.
