Afterearth is a world of post-apocalyptic future, where the kingdom of mushrooms has occupied 90% of the biosphere. Among the mushroom forests and debris of the world's past, mycoids - intelligent, humanoid mushrooms fight for their place in the sun. Their civilization is a mushroom frontier, and our hero is a typical representative of it.
