In an attempt to save his friend, Akihito transfers his friend's brain into a robot. However, Aki himself perishes while his friend is in cryonic sleep. The brain transferred into the robot succumbs to the temptations of a sociopathic AI. Now, all of Japan is hunting for the uncorrected mistake. In an effort to evade destruction, the robot flees into the forest where Aki once left his inventions.
