Pomor, Siberian vessel of the 16th-17th cc. for river and coastal navigation. It was used to deliver cargo and people to distant and frontier settlements and outposts of the Moscow kingdom. The hull was stitched and assembled without the use of nails. The deck arrangement could be open or hidden under a canopy - according to the situation. They were often disposable and disassembled at the terminus of the first voyage.
