Hey, everybody! :)
This is my first full-fledged work with the environment in Unreal Engine. Soviet hangar for repairing assault mechs somewhere in the countryside, 60s smiley This scene is game ready level. It has collision, optimized topology of modular models.
While creating this location I was able to learn and apply a lot of new skills and programs. Many tutorials and articles were watched. I started with hardsurface robot modeling. Studied Substance Designer on a basic level. I got acquainted with the principles of creating, optimizing and applying modular environment in games.
A separate aspect was the study of Unreal Engine. Lighting Lumen , setting materials in the engine, working with megascans, scene optimization, camera animation, vegetation, decals and a lot of other little things.
Working with Unreal Engine opens new horizons for creativity and helps to realize the coolest ideas.
