Today I want to show how you can use Vantage in your work. And I want to compare the results of rendering the finished scene from the Evermotion Archinteriors VOL 47 scene collection. In the video, you will see how the standard and outdated V-Ray renderer loses in speed to the new solution from ChaosGroup, Vantage.
You may notice some imperfections in the detail of the picture. /that is the only thing that sometimes has to be sacrificed. But with finer tuning of the engine, you can get super results in Vantage.
I rendered first a static frame in 3ds Max and Vray 6. I got the render result in 24 minutes. I think this is a good result for the final quality of the render. But it is very difficult to use such quality and speed in animation rendering.
I imported the scene into Chaos Vantage and set up the lighting and camera rendering. The total time for 750 frames I got 4 hours and 16 minutes of rendering. I think this result is already ideal for accelerated animation rendering and your projects.
I would love to hear your opinion in the comments. I think to continue to compare scenes of different complexity and look for the advantages of the Vantage engine.
