In this project I practiced my skills in texturing some photorealistic model using Substance painter. I chose this RCF active two-way speaker for its nice shape and accurate small details. I imagined how this thing would look once abandoned at the old warehouse after years of being in use. I aimed to translate the feeling when you find something that you used to interact with very often in the past, and it’s just like meeting an old friend with whom you share plenty of great memories. Despite that the model is far from ideal, I really enjoyed the process of modeling and texturing this speaker. Hope you’ll like it!
