This project was made based on the reference of a real interior. Cadaval & Solà-Morales architects have transformed a historic late-19th-century theater building into a modern home in Barcelona, Spain. The 330-square-meter space is located in the trendy Poblenou district. In working on the project, the architects sought to preserve and restore the spatial and structural values of the old theater, reveal its essence and use the greater height of the central space.
