As a child, I dreamed of such "ghosts" in a different dream context, not always negative. They were called Sirin for some reason, although how could I have known Old Russian folklore as a child, I think it is unlikely that they were named after a bird of paradise. This is probably some kind of collaboration of the Faceless One from "Gone with the Ghosts" with its frightening taciturnity, from which I was impressed by the lanterns as a child. I was really afraid of the lanterns, because they were very tall and thin... and when you stand under them, you constantly feel their eyes on you. From top to bottom-right at you. And I was most afraid of the incomprehensibility of what exactly is feared in these ghosts. They are without claws, teeth, or fangs. They're just semi-transparent, they look at you with their spotlights and that's it, just look if they notice...and slowly they trudge towards you, and I couldn't help but cry out or move from my place in my stupor. Unfortunately, I never found out what happened to me
