This is the first 3D model I have created - a reconstruction of a dinosaur feather, probably a coelurosaur, whose tail once got into resin and remained forever in amber. The main difference between dinosaur feathers and bird feathers is the lack of connection between the grooves, which makes them even more "fluffy". This was due to the fact that most of the species of feathered dinosaurs did not fly, and they only needed plumage for thermal insulation and demonstration.
