The archmage has always been partial to artifacts, since they have always been an abyss for research and knowledge. And so, in the month of the Sharp Moon, once again succumbing to curiosity, he, bypassing the rules, delivered a strange artifact from the dead worlds to his citadel. Research could reveal many secrets, and Morten immediately began testing. However, a harmless and nondescript-looking object was fraught with much greater danger than he could imagine. After all, as it turned out, the artifact was a portal generator, a kind of genie lamp that holds the world of ancient, disembodied creators of the portal network. It is unclear who and when imprisoned them in an artifact, but thanks to the curiosity of the archmage, they had a chance to return to the vastness of the Universe. And now Morten the Inquisitive has to learn the power of their knowledge and the power of steel mechanical shells that give them materiality.
