Hello, here is my project. The work shows a brief history of the quarantine zone, which did not cope with the task of saving people, and a small period of the life of two characters, and we gradually learn what happened to this object, why it is empty, why it was actually created. I also wanted to show the importance of the quarantine zone in two different stages of history, and if earlier it protected people, now it protects plants from the impending desert. The story of the main characters, their relationship, the search for answers to their questions was also important for me. I wanted to find answers for questions: what is the actually concept of “life”; what if for someone death is the beginning of a new stage of life and its evolution, and also, what is it all the same makes the inanimate "alive." From the renders you can see how the protagonist learns himself through the environment: trying to understand the meaning of the word “man”, interacting with his partner and friend, trying to become like a fresco with a reference to a Vitruvian man, and in one of the last shots he literally tries to touch emotions, to feel , what actually is it. The finale gives a hint that people perceived the zombie apocalypse as the end of human life, but this was the beginning of its other form: the evolution began its new round in a different form. After all, the main character meets the character in the finale clearly with glimpses of the primitive communal system. The true purpose of two travelers visiting our planet remains a McGuffin. There are hommages to “Stalker” by Tarkovsky, the “Stalker” game, “Gladiator” by Ridley Scott, “Star Wars”, the “Love, Death and Robots” animated series. I was also inspired by the works of Simon Stalenhag. The closed city in Uzbekistan “Aralsk-7” was taken as a prototype. The character of the Pannikin character is taken from my cat :)
