In a world that had forgotten about the horrors of the past, where the ruins of the former had been replaced by a new growth, when the planet was still able to restore its great grandeur, life began to boil again. Human civilization revived once again, settling in the great city-states. Under the onslaught of a hostile environment and a new threat from the numerous enemies of the city, one after another they were in ruins. The rulers of the city of Ken'sin, using ancient anti-gravity technologies, were able to literally take it off the ground and make it soar above the peaks of the Nippon Highlands. The entrepreneurial residents of Ken'sin were not prevented from continuing to trade with neighboring city-states. Thanks to all the same lovingly kept technical achievements of their ancestors, they managed to build entire flotillas of steel ships slowly floating in the air. Wealthy merchants, not wanting to lose their profit, equipped many caravans, establishing stable and relatively safe exchange of goods with their closest neighbors. Few enemies managed to get majestic ships sailing over rivers and valleys overgrown with forests. The summer harvest of miraculous pumpkins of Kabots turned out to be a record this year. This vegetable, growing exclusively on the Nippon Highlands, had truly legendary properties - it eliminated the harmful radiation from the ruins of ancient cities, quenched hunger for many hours, and was completely amazing when baked. It is not surprising that for this wonderful product many neighboring cities were ready to pay a considerable price in local currency. Thus, a need arose for well-equipped caravans capable of quickly and safely delivering fresh pumpkins to customers. The merchant Toriboshi, himself a great lover of Kabotsa, was a man greedy for money, but with a good heart. Most of all (except wealth, of course), he loved all living creatures. His faithful dog of the Chi'vva breed never remained without attention for a long time to the attention of the owner, who took him everywhere with him - even on long journeys. It turned out that at sunset on the first day of the next caravan of pumpkins, Toriboshi met the wild bird Garuda, the rarest representative of giant birds, which few had seen before in these parts. Either an unusually rich harvest of pumpkins attracted her, or their paths crossed by a lucky chance, but the kind-hearted merchant did not get confused at the sight of a huge bird, but decided to share with her (his next) favorite delicacy - sashimi with ocean salmon. Despite the worst expectations of the crew members of his flagship, Garuda happily tasted sashimi, without even encroaching on the frightened sailors and the merchant himself. It is possible that in this way a great and strong friendship was struck between such dissimilar species - who knows what will happen next and how this will affect the wandering of the Toriboshi caravan?
