Keywords Studios, a company known for its outsourcing services in the gaming industry, has announced the acquisition of Certain Affinity. This studio is recognized for its involvement in the development of major titles like Hogwarts Legacy, DOOM, as well as the Call of Duty and Halo series.

The details of the deal between Keywords Studios and Certain Affinity, including the purchase price, remain confidential. However, it is known that the leadership of Certain Affinity will retain their roles and continue to manage the studio.

Certain Affinity, founded in 2006 by former Bungie employees, has established itself as a significant player in the gaming industry. The studio operates from offices in Austin, Texas, and Toronto, employing over 180 people. One of their major ongoing projects is EXODUS, a science fiction RPG about space exploration, which they are developing in collaboration with Archetype Entertainment.
