The free Blender add-on creates hairstyles from curves

The add-on - Blender geometry nodes: Hair cards from curves - does exactly what the name suggests: it converts hair created using Blender's hair system based on curves into planes. These planes, which are polygonal geometric strips with hair textures, are automatically deformed along the curves, with the bend aligned to the geometry of the base surface. Users can adjust the results by manipulating the hair directly in the viewport or using sliders to fix artifacts or customize the hairstyle's appearance.
Geometry Nodes is the latest custom tool released publicly by Bystedt, following developments such as Bystedt Blender Baker and Bystedt Cloth Builder.
Currently a Senior Concept Artist at Goodbye Kansas Studios, Bystedt was one of the most prominent artists to adopt Blender prior to the release of milestone 2.80, creating several key demo reels for his Eevee render.
Geometry Nodes for Blender by Daniel Bystedt - Hair Cards from Curves - is available for Blender 3.6 and above. It can be downloaded for free.
