Folke woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of the window shutters and the howling of the wind. Having examined the hut, the boy discovered that the door was wide open, and his beloved dog Heimo was missing. Huge footprints of some monster led from the door of the house to the forest. Folke threw on his cloak and went in search of his friend.
