Author’s comment:
The Huns (Greek: OνΝνοι, Lat. Hunni) - a nomadic people who invaded Europe from the steppes of Central Asia at the end of the IV century. During the reign of Attila (434-453), the Hunnic association with the center in Pannonia reached its maximum expansion, covering the territory from the Volga and the Caucasus to the Rhine. After the death of Attila in 453, the Hun Empire collapsed, and the Huns were absorbed by new groups of nomads arriving from the east.
